Wellness Reimagined: A New Model for Inner Growth
What if wellness isn’t a goal to reach, but a relationship to cultivate? True wellness begins when we stop trying to “fix” ourselves and instead
Connection and Compassion.
The Narra tree is commonly found in the south pacific islands. Its trunk can reach 2 meters in diameter and it can stand as high as 35 meters. Its drooping branches, seasonal yellow blooms and massive canopy of leaves is a stunning, visual beauty. Trees have long been used as a metaphor for well-being and mental health, symbolizing strength, resilience and wisdom.
In therapy, I honour your lived experience, strengths and wisdom, to understand and address the challenges you have defined, and together, we work towards the growth desired by and relevant to you. Like the tree, we are impacted and changed by what’s around us. Our ability to adapt to what life brings is critical to our well-being; our instincts, creativity, and our neurobiology, foster our survival and we explore these parts of self to engage them in a way that helps with healing. There is an interconnectedness to how we see ourselves. We explore issues in a holistic way; to understand how our minds, body and emotions influence our behaviours, our relationships with others, and most importantly, our relationship with ourselves.
We offer a variety of psychological services for people in different situations. This includes individuals, couples, children, workshops, consultation, and more.
